Arab Media Award 24th Edition Winners Finalized
The Board of Directors of the Arab Media Award (AMA), chaired by **Mona Ghanem Al Marri**, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, held a meeting to finalize the winners of the award’s 24th edition.
During the virtual meeting, the board discussed the evaluation and screening processes, which adhered to a comprehensive set of criteria to ensure fairness and transparency. The award witnessed strong competition among media institutions, journalists, and writers across the Arab world.
Mona Ghanem Al Marri expressed her appreciation to board members and contributors for their efforts in successfully completing the award’s various stages. She commended the judging panel for ensuring the selection of the most deserving winners, underlining the award’s ongoing commitment to integrity and impartiality.
Al Marri noted that the award not only celebrates excellence and encourages creativity but also resonates with Dubai’s vision of media as a catalyst for human development. She reaffirmed the board’s dedication to enhancing the award’s impact on Arab media and its role as the region’s leading platform for recognizing outstanding work.
This year’s edition featured a significant volume and diversity of entries from across the Arab world, all rigorously evaluated by independent, qualified committees. **Dr. Maitha Buhumaid**, Secretary-General of the Arab Media Award, emphasized that the award’s development is an ongoing process, with regular reviews by the Board of Directors to adapt to the evolving media landscape.
**Jasim Al Shemsi**, Director of the Award, announced that the winners will be honored on **27 May** during the Arab Media Summit, in a ceremony attended by prominent media personalities and Arab journalists.

The Summit includes award ceremonies for the Arab Media Award, the Arab Social Media Influencers Award, and the **Ibda’a – Arab Youth Media Award**.
