Emirates Expands Global Network with New Destinations
Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, is set to strengthen its presence across Asia with the launch of daily non-stop flights between Dubai and Shenzhen, China, as well as new routes to Da Nang, Vietnam, and Siem Reap, Cambodia.
New Flights Overview
- Shenzhen: Daily flights starting 1 July 2025
- Da Nang: Four weekly flights starting 2 June 2025
- Siem Reap: Three weekly flights starting 3 June 2025
This expansion adds Shenzhen, Da Nang, and Siem Reap to Emirates’ network, enhancing its connectivity to East Asia with a total of 269 flights per week to 24 destinations.

Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, highlighted the airline’s commitment to enhancing travel options: “We remain committed to offering business and leisure travellers unparalleled access to Southeast Asia and the broader East Asia region. Our expansion into Shenzhen opens new doors for business and economic exchange.”
He continued, “Our decision to expand operations to Da Nang aligns with the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between the UAE and Vietnam, and we’re also excited to connect travellers to Siem Reap, home to Angkor Wat.”
Details on Shenzhen Operations
Emirates will make history as the first Middle Eastern airline to operate daily flights to Shenzhen. Flight EK328 will depart Dubai at 10:05 AM and arrive in Shenzhen at 10:00 PM, while the return flight EK329 will take off at 11:55 PM, arriving in Dubai at 03:40 AM the next day. This route boosts cargo capabilities by facilitating the transport of 2,000 tonnes of cargo weekly between the UAE and China.
Focus on Vietnam and Cambodia
The new service to Da Nang will operate four times a week, while Siem Reap will have three weekly services. Emirates flights EK370 will depart Dubai at 9:00 AM, arriving in Bangkok at 6:25 PM, and connecting flights will lead to both Da Nang and Siem Reap, enhancing travel convenience to these emerging destinations.
